Suspension fasteners
Recently painted my engine bay and I'm having my stock A-arms, K-member and various bracing powder coated. So...What have you guys used for K-member/A-arm fasteners in the past?
I don't want to put my crummy factory fasteners back in, and I don't particularly want to put new OEM fasteners in that are uncoated. Any opinions? Powder coat the OEM ones? Stainless Steel?
Thanks

Re: Suspension fasteners
maybe new grade 8 bolts that are zinc plated. i probably wouldn't use stainless. maybe somebody has more experience, though...

Re: Suspension fasteners
I just used all new bolts from Ace Hardware. I belive the A arm bolts are metric so they would be grade 10.9 They all come coated in some gold stuff. Been on there for 6 years now and now rusting.
