WS6 REPLACEMENT PARTS
Are replacement struts / shocks the same for WS6 cars as standard suspension cars? When researching, I find no reference to WS6 and most companies just say their application will fit "Firebirds". Are the aftermarket replacements "one size fits all" or are there manufacturers that come closer to the OE components (or better) than others? Are AC Delco components the OE ones for my '91?
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: WS6 REPLACEMENT PARTS
"WS6" at this point in history is primarily monkey-spank.
While it was the RPO for the best suspension STOCK soft- and wear-part options available at the time, PRACTICALLY ANYTHING aftermarket is better. Any 82-92 parts fit any 82-92 cars so it makes no difference which wore-out wear parts you started out with before they were wore out and used up, as to which BETTER ones to replace them with. They all fit the same.
Doesn't matter any more. It's all wore out.
Just get what you want and leave the buzzword behind.
AFAIK Delphi (the successor company to AC Delco, in turn the successor company to the merger of the AC Spark Plug Co. and Delco which was the successor to the Dayton Engineering Laboratory Co.) doesn't now, and never did, "make" any of that stuff. Not an issue.
I'd suggest Moog 5662 or 5664 springs for the front and 5665 or CC635 for the rear. Shocks, don't cheeeep out.

Re: WS6 REPLACEMENT PARTS
Thank you both. Now I can focus on what type and manufacturer I want to use. I want the car to perorm well under street conditions and there are many components from terrible to racing levels out there. Right now, Koni's reds have my attention but they may be to harsh for my old butt!
