Rag joint replacement....
No marijuana jokes please.....
Anyway, my rag joint shaft has seen its better days. I found a solid (edit--meaning a good quality shaft! lol) replacement on eBay and want to swap it in, but before I do I want to consult the thirdgen oracle about it. Can you do it without disconnecting the brake lines? If so, how do I need to maneuver it around? Any tricks to it, or just trial/error/wrench throwing til you get it clear? Remember, I'm talking about the entire shaft, not just the rag joint! From steering box to the bolt near the firewall....

Re: Rag joint replacement....
LOL...yeah I know guys hate rag joints as a rule, but I'm just replacing an old one with a healthy one. I'd have the same questions if I was using a different shaft. I just want to know what's involved in getting it out.
