Detroit Speed is currently in development of third gen f-body suspension. I'm not sure what they are making for the cars. They told me they are in the early stages of devolpment. They haven't even madea prototype of anything yet.
I'd bet less than 5% of the people on this forum could afford to buy the parts from them. While they do have some of the BEST stuff out there, they are very pricey.

Your right, they are rediculously expensive, but you get what you pay for which is always top notch.
I have heard on good authority that they will be introducing several products in early April. They are going to have LCA, Sway bars, SFC, and some other items coming out, probably in the April time frame. I also heard that they might bring out a quad link kit for the cars too - no ETA, but don't expect it to be cheap.
I hope they come out with splined swaybars and a top notch torque arm setup if they dont go with the quadralink rear. Hopefully they will give the boost in popularity third gens need in the aftermarket and popularity in general.

I'm not sure exactly what type of product designs, but if they go the high road - splined sway bars, quadra-link; it will be a good thing - no one makes off the shelf products like that now. I'm not sure if they are coming out with a TQ arm setup, but the Global West trac-link is killer and its been around over 15 years now.
Yeah, doesn't have to be exact, but I did/do like all the stuff he made for us, once upon a time.
PRi is some pricey stuff.
Ackerman and scrub fixes would be cool! DSE has the know how to make their own sturdy k-members while fixing some attachment points - that would be way cool, within their wheelhouse, and not too expensive.

Their website has an interactive catalog on the main page that lists the 3rd gen parts and as we surmised...WOW is it pricey! Some some of the stuff is comparable but other stuff is just off the charts. Anyway, the build quality is probably second to none but they're going to have to come down in price some...like they want $325 for SFC's compared to Spohn's $200 and $250 for an adjustable panhard rod. Spohn's is only $165. I haven't looked in comparison to UMI or BMR but yeah, they're expensive.

I am happy with my swivel cup weight jacks (much cheaper but much more work); for those looking, their set-up looks easy to install.
I wonder how much bigger/stronger their front sway bar is over my 36m.
I just got done with a google search and all I could find was a 108 page catalog. I looked through it, but unfortunately I couldn't find any 3rd gen f-body parts anywhere. Am I just being thick lol? Could yall post a link please? I would really appreciate it!

Looks like their weight jacks swivel too, but seems a lot for what you get. Not as much work to install and looks like you could go back to stock easily. That might be worth it to some - includes their custom springs.
Front roll bay uses a brace to attach - so those attach points are moved. Don't know how the # range compares against the 36m. I'm sure this is a good piece!
Been looking for lower shock mount extension brackets like these, but I don't know if JRi rear coil-overs are custom lengthed for the 2" drop, or if DSE made the brackets to compensate. My first ask was that they are available as a kit, only.
Those struts with removable hole inserts seem intriguing. Seems like they're piggy-backing on the camber bolt idea, but alter the hole alignment. Lots of little details to discover, here.
The strut to spindle bracket is threaded onto the strut body. The inserts into the top hole on the bracket would give more adjustment than camber bolts.
Awesome! Finally, some legit drop springs are being marketed for 3rd gens. 950lb front & 220lb rears are better rates then any other drop spring supplier for 3rd gens.
Also their steering shaft kit is the first I've seen marketed by an official company.
They also have high end shocks with remote reservoirs that will bolt right on.
This is good. I hope their parts sell. When I get some money together I'm gonna buy those C/C plates.
I received the physical catalog in the mail, yesterday.
The strut mounts (c/c plates) look the best $$ wise and pay off with track-to-street adjustments and fairly easy to record changes --> future purchase.
It's hard to beat Koni for the performance per dollar.
Bars seem overpriced, unclear why the need to move off stock. Especially the rear where I need less bar. I'd like to know more about their decision-making processes and why they relocated the front attachment points.
Again, weight jacks seem a lot, but they're competitive with ground control and you get the springs, swivel for articulation, and can go back to stock - these make sense.
Their approach is very similar to what I've done: Spohn strut mounts, Koni struts, swivel cup weight jacks (cheaper, more work thru the top, irreversable), tubular a-arms (mine are adjustable), rear coil-overs, springs are #850fr (have lighter LS) and #200r, adj LCA & PHB.
With the lowering, I am surprised why they didn't attempt a drop spindle or at least an ext BJ (w/dust boot)??? And no attempt for PHB lowering? They lowered 2" and made no attempt to correct geometry or go after fRC/rRC (other than lowering)- why? And, no wonder bar/steering brace (maybe their sway bar brace does this), no STB, no TA, no LCARB? I realize this is the intial opening into the 3rd Gen market, maybe more to come?
Encouraged so far, just will never afford the PRi.
I don't see why they would make a torque arm when they designed the whole Quadra-link setup. Torque arms are pretty saturated with all the other manufacturers, they just went started from scratch and went in a different direction. More power to them for actually making something new.

I was thinking the same thing, I'd like to see a pic of their support bar mounted. Maybe it reinforces the area even more?
I was also surprised to see the large rear bar as well, must work for their setup though. I'm pretty sure they design everything to work together as a complete package.
Yeah, my impression of them is that they do a complete line and do everything in-house. I like that philosophy very much!
I'm not trying to be hyper-critical, just asking questions to spark discussion. If we don't ask, they won't tell us.
Hard to imagine any 'testing mule' without LCARBs in place.
They are top notch and worth it - depending on what I need and already have. I think this bodes well for 3rd Gens - that a top notch company is entering the market. They must believe they can do well, and resto-mod shops must be willing to install these products in a build, and enough of them to make a profit. I think the main strength of their line is through distributors (IMHO), not necessarily the individual end-user. If you're going to mod for end-user or mod to sell, the brand name carries alot.
Most of us DIY end-users, prefer the pricing of parts catalogs vs the pricing through distributor shops - different animals, and both have their place.
I was just continuing the discussion, hope i didn't come off as a fan boy lol. They have LCARBS built into their Quadralink system, odd they don't sell just the brackets. Only thing I can think of is there are so many others out there that they feel they wouldn't be able to compete at their price point?

Agreed. I hope this introduces new blood & interest into the 3rd gen restoration community. Hopefully more well built, respectable 3rd gens will be built as a result of this. Regardless, I'm going to get a set of their C/C plate set up as soon as I can. I'll report on how good they are, although I'm sure they are excellent.
Talked to them today, they were shipping out at the end of the day. Told me to watch their facebook page, they would be posting build info of their thirdgen test car soon.
I got my DSE struts a couple of weeks ago. Very nice and some crazy cool features. I would recommend them to anyone that wants some really racing struts on their car. See pic. You can also see a bunch of other mods done to the car for American Sedan racing with the SCCA.

I'm going to buy a set for my car asap... I just need to finish up a few things with my LS swap first. I'll let you know how they are & post up some photos.
Just got back from Road America - Optima Ultimate Street Car event.
I was hoping that RideTech would have a presence at the event. Someone just took their stuff (booth) out of the semi and set it up - fail.
I did talk with Kyle & Stacy Tucker in person. He brought out the caster/camber plates and I got the chance to hold them in my hands. Nice pieces - I'll get them over the winter.
