Hello. I have a set of used 2'' drop spindles and rear springs that I just took off of a '90 formula with 33K miles on it. I think the original owner bought them from summit. 125.00 plus shipping.

Re: drop spindles...I think I found 'em

the link is for G body spindles, listed as LeMans spindles...

why get lowering spindles when extended balljoints and chopped springs gets you to the same place a lot cheaper?

Re: drop spindles...I think I found 'em

There's alot of info on here about how drop spindles help lower the CG while keeping the front RC high up which is a good thing on a front heavy car.. There are pros and cons but if someone designed a strong enough 2" drop spindle for the street, it would be worth the $$$ IMO.

Yes, pricey. I paid $550 or so, then found out I didn't receive the RoadRace beefy version that I requested. Sent 'em back in, another $150 or so, another alignment. I won't give 'em up, and Racecraft no longer offers them.

Re: drop spindles...I think I found 'em

I am curious on image 6, it appears the two center holes have incomplete threads. This usually happens when the wrong size tap drill is used. It appears the tap drill used was too large netting this condition. Incomplete threads are very easy to strip out when tightening. FYI....the pieces look fantastic and the welding is excellent.
