Viking rear shocks vs Koni double adjustables

Looking at these two to put my rear back in the car. Replacing factory stuff. Only thing about the Viking that has me questioning it is the aluminum body. Konis are steel. Rear is a Midwest 9 inch. Wondering the overall strength of aluminum rear shocks. Are they fine for street strip not a daily driver? I know UMI sells these as well as Spohn. Thanks

The Prez of Viking used to work at QA1 in Minnesota; hence, the Viking name. Buy 'em and beat on 'em.

I hope the Vikings fare better than the QA1's do.
My QA1 single adjustables were JUNK.
The shaft seals were leaking within a year and the valving out of the box was way out of wack.

We sell a ton of Vikings. Maybe two tons. They work great and we've warrantied zero in three years (probably thousands sold).

If you prefer the Koni, and many do, I'd call Strano.

How do you plan to run the car? Oops, just saw. Street/strip great on Vikings.

Re: Viking rear shocks vs Koni double adjustables

Both are double adjustable. Konis are about 250-299 a piece depending where you get them. Vikings are about 300 for a pair. I saw alot of feedback on the qa1s and most said no matter what qa1 says its a drag shock. Strano has said there is no comparison qa1 to koni. I know viking is new but I dont want to buy shocks twice. Btw wish koni still made the reds. I hate the yellow on suspension pieces.
