front tire leaning in at top
i have noticed that my front tire is leaning in slightly at the top. like it would be "stanced" example /___\. but only one wheel is doing it. my bushings seem fine, ive heard a ball joint or wheel bearing can cause it? maybe bad alignment on that wheel, or a bent strut? any help is appriciated.

your strut mount could be worn out too. If something was worn out you'd probably feel and maybe even hear it banging around up there when you hit bumps. Better get it figured out and get it aligned before you do damage. Ever seen a ball joint break while a car is in motion? Not pretty.

A sloppy ball joint probably wouldn't cause the wheel to toe in that much. But a bad strut, strut mount or a front end that is really badly out of alignment would cause your problem. If you replace any of those front end components it would need re-aligned. So if you don't turn your own wrenches you should just take it to a shop that can do both.

greenyone is right, a ball joint won't cause that much camber. I'd check your a-arm bushings, strut to spindle bolts, strut to make sure its straight, and the strut mount. I'd start at the strut mount. It may have just moved or possibly the rubber is gone but you would probably hear that. If the bolts have loosened on the strut mount it will slide inward causing negative camber like that. They may not be really loose but loose enough the vibrations and bumps caused it to move.
You're not describing an issue that clearly indicates the need for new struts. That would be better determined by how the car rides and how much it bounces.
It is discussed in many threads, these cars are 23 years old or older. Rubber (strut mounts, bushings, sway bar links) and many wear items (like ball joints, steering linkage, struts and shocks) need replaced. Definitely replace what is necessary for safe driving but keep in mind the idea of replacing it all. Should feel like a new thirdgen when you're done!
