Spohn VS BRM VS Ground Control

Hi all newer member to the forum and have been researching a lot about these 3 suspension set ups. I'm looking for anyone with knowledge or experience who has used one or more of these, what's your impression likes and dislikes?

1. GC front and rear coil over and Koni Yellow

2.Spohn Pro Tour Front Coil over conversion, BMR rear drop spring, Koni Yellow ($260 more than the GC/Koni set up)

3. Spohn Front and Rear Pro tour Coil over, QA1 struts/shocks front/rear ($270 more than #2, $520 more than #1) with KYB AGX in the front, this set up would cost only $25 more than #2.

I've eliminated the BMR front coil over kit, I think the Spohn kit is better at a lower price. The car is used mostly for spirited driving on the streets, cruising on the HWY and MAYBE MAYBE some track time but doubt it will see much of any of that anymore. More of a pro tour feel I think is what I'm after.

I think its also worth mentioning that I plan to run C5 Z06 Wheels/Tires with 2" spacers F/R at this time. Down the road I may swap to a full LS drive train so being able to retain most or all of my initial investment and growing from there is important also. It would also be worth mentioning that I plan to keep the OEM IROC Z sway bars at 34mm front and 24mm rear and likely go with a spring rate of 300 for the front about 170 for the rear unless someone can make a case for why I would want to change the bars.

Thanks all!

Re: Spohn VS BRM VS Ground Control

Ground control is a weight jack setup, not coilovers. that said, its the best choice. 800-1000lb front spring depending on application, and 120 -175 rear depending on application. Ground control will be able to get to in the ballpark with some information from you about your cars setup.

Re: Spohn VS BRM VS Ground Control

I've been chatting with GC actually about my set up and will likely go with their WJ system or some custom rate springs.

I'm leaning toward just the springs now I don't think I need the adjustability I thought I may have once as much as I would love the WJs.

I'm just waiting to hear back if their springs can be ordered in a height that would lower the car by something similar to the spirt lines. I'm trying to avoid the off shelf spring rates with the out if the box kits.
