Are inner subframes worth it?

I have outer subframe connectors welded in and I'm going to remove the last inches of the inner subframe to get more room for duals and a diffrent torque arm mounting. I will weld in 2"x 2" ( of bigger) square tubing instead.

Is it worth the hazzle of cutting up the floor and extend them to the rear frame and have them welded "through the floor" like the mustangs do?

or should I just weld them up in the same lenght as the stock inner frame?

From what I understand the outers are far more beneficial and the inner set is usually added after the outer set for guys that have stronger engines but don't want something like me a six point cage. How much stronger they make the car is really an engineer question or something for a chassis rack to test. I have them on but haven't driven the car yet. I'm thinking most sanctioning bodies in autocross or drag race don't count them and won't move you up a class. So I guess long story short is if you don't get a 6 point and can afford adding them, go for it

Having them makes a difference...
I first put in Spohn outer ones on stack car, difference.
Then I added Alston inner ones, more difference...
With your engine / blower / power level, etc... I would put them / some in...
