cold air intake

looking through summit saw a dual cold air intake for carb or tbi. would there be any benefits of spending the 100 dollars to obtain this? is there even enough room in the already tiny engine bay to run two air dams on opposite sides of the engine?

Re: cold air intake

In my opinion, not enough benefit to justify the expense. You can make your own using the stock TBI air cleaner - just cut another hole in the side, make a snout from some aluminum roof flashing and rivet it on, then use some air duct from auto store to route another intake hose to the pass side - can snag another plastic piece for the headlight bar off ebay to make it the same as the factory job.

There's also a ton of threads on here with pics of what others have done - just do a for "cold air intake"
