305 TBI Won't Idle

305 TBI Won't Idle
Picked up 91 Camaro RS with a 305 TBI. I finally was able to halfway get past the security light(I have to let the key sit in the ignition for a few minutes and it will go away but still have to jump the starter enable). Anyway, I can get the car to start off of starting fluid and will idle for second and will die out. I can see the injectors spraying trying to keep the car running but still just die out. It will sometime backfire through the TBI also. I have no idea where to start on this. I've google'd and searched the internet but haven't really had any leads.
Where should I start?
There aren't any codes either... I think. Not exactly sure how to read it but the light comes on for a second and goes away. I will google how to read the codes.

Make sure your fuel pump is priming. Ohm your injectors and check your fuel pressure. Ohm should be around 1.3 and pressure should be 10-13psi. Make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks. Change your fuel filter and maybe rebuild your throttle body. May have to ensure correct distributor position by hunting for TDC. For starters. Good luck.

You must have:
1. A burnable air/fuel mix. This assumes proper fuel pressure, gasoline isn't stale or water-contaminated. You must have proper injector operation.
2. Compression. This assumes proper valve operation, and rings that seal. No popped head gasket, no cracked castings, no holes in pistons. What is your cranking compression?
3. Spark, at the right time. This means spark across the plug gap, not merely spark at the plug wire. Fouled plugs don't spark even when the rest of the system is in good condition.
4. Free-flowing exhaust. That is, not more than the normal restriction caused by cat converter, muffler, tubing bends, etc.
Which of these DON'T you have? Perhaps there's more than one thing wrong.
I'm very suspicious of your VATS/security light.
