Car: 84 Z28 Camaro
Engine: 350ci
Transmission: T-5
13.50 @ 103.8 mph
Finally got the new 350 motor to the track after a year long install(very part time). Quick description: Unported World SR Torquers, single
pattern 222 .467 cam, take off ZZ4 intake with
computer control Qjet, Edlebrock coated, used headers, gutted cat and original stock L69
exhaust. Rest of mods in sign that transfered
except 1.6 rockers. Qualifiers for run(always have excuses) - only one run( too crowded), short shifted 1st and 2nd, babied it off the line with 2.17 60ft, and track is at 1100 ft elevation
(corrected time approx 13.30 @ 105 mph).
Comments / questions....?

You live in NY and the original exhaust from 1984 hasn't rotted out from under the car yet?
Still, a good run. I'm assuming it's on the 350 motor, too. If it's on the 305 then you're FLYIN'!

Edited to reflect new 350 motor.
Car has 56,000 original miles and has not seen a lot of weather.

This is an auto or standard trans? Do some more suspension work and invest in soem tires to drop the 60 foot and you could be in the 12s rather easily. A good torque converter would also help if it's auto.

That's a good run. I hoping somewhere along those times with the ZZ4 crate motor in my car.

Actually the suspension work is done already and I have
BFG DR's. Trouble is the track is 75 miles away and I went
alone so did not want to break anything. Next time with
some good fall air, and a group of friends we will see.
Mods for next year will be take-off Zexel Torsen posi and
28 spline Moser axles (already have diff support cover). Still
have to granny shift the non-world class T5.
