fellow thidgenners lend me a hand!
I had a revelation while reading some tech articles... If I replace my mass air flow sensor for my TBI there is a chance that my problems will clear up.. the problem I have is, my car no longer is a 305 it's a caprice 350.. so do I go to the auto store and ask for the caprice 350 TBI MAS?
One final Question what is the difference between the mass airflow sensor and this speed density thing? In common man terms, I don't quite understand what the difference is, and which one should I try to get for my car?

Car: yy wife, crazy.
Engine: 350, Vortecs, 650DP
Transmission: TH-350
Axle/Gears: 8.5", 3.42
I'm not 100% sure (only 99%) but a TBI has a MAP sensor (manifold absolute pressure) sensor, not a MAS.
MAS and speed density are TPI sensors. MAS measures how much air is going through and speed density measures the velocity. Although these are the 1% that I'm not sure on. I don't know squat about TPI except it makes some massive torque numbers.

Tell them to look up both in their computer/book. I'll bet it's the same part #, but you never know.
As far as which one, it depends on which computer/chip you're now using. But that's getting into the EPROM crap that I know a whole lotta nothin' about.
