Holley 4160 to 4150 Conversion Kit

I have a Holley 4160 and the Secondaries have no metering block no jets, just a metering plate. Is it worth while to install the conversion kit and if so how much power gains will be achieved.

Thanks,

Justin

I believe there is quite a bit of discussion on this over on the carburetor board! I've seen many posts regarding this conversion, so they should be able to help!

"HP gains" depend on how far off the metering-plate calibration is, as compared to what your engine wants. It's not like you just bolt on power. If all you do is just install the conversion kit by itself, it probably won't give you much at all, if anything. What it does is allow you to tune the secondaries. You may not gain anything, you may gain alot; only way to know is to do it, and then actually use the flexibility that it gives you to greatest advantage.
