Blower (for Heat/AC) - Squeaking now?

I think the blower is on it way out - when i turn it on, it sounds like a dirty fan and squeaks like mad.

Can these things be cleaned? Do I need a new one? And does anyone have instructions on getting it out?

Not sure what year you're working on, but based on the '86 system I have in mine, it's one of the easier things to get to. Just a few screws, one wire to disconnect to get it out. It's under the hood on the passenger side, rear of the engine compartment. The motors are less than $30 - check www.partsamerica.com, $27.49 minus 25% discount they're running right now.
