Anyone see these new filters? Says something about "low-torque design" on the side, and not to overtighten? They look aluminum... any problems with 'em?

Yes, I've seen them. They arent't that new. I just took one off a buick, and it was an AC filter with the words "Low Torque Design" inked on the can.

Hah; that's what I get for buying a bunch of filters at one time... I haven't had to go to a store for a fuel filter in a few years. Thanks man!
