Electric Fuel Pump Problems
I have done an engine swap from a 2.8 to a 350 and after getting the car running, cannot get the electric fuel pump to work. To my knowledge, I have not disturbed any oil pressure wires. Is it run off of inertia switch or oil pressure possibly? I can blow air through fuel return line with air fine but cannot blow through fuel pressure line with air.

i hooked up oil pressure sending unit and turned the key and no pump. how do i make the pump work?

Alright, what kinda car are we talking about? Also what kind of wiring have you done? Did you just run a hot lead to the starter, push button, and coil(igniton, dizzy, points, whatever)? Or are you using the actual vehicle wiring and keeping it slimmed down?

There are two things that get the fuel pump working, a oil pressure switch near the oil filter (not to be confused with the oil pressure gauge), and a relay. According to the wiring diagram for an '86 2.8L (found in 3rdgen's tech articles) your ECM controls the fuel pump relay. It might need to see the power steering pressure input before engaging the fuel pump?
You could locate the relay, remove the connector, and short out the orange wire with 12V on it and the tan/white wire. That could get your engine running temporarily, until you find out whats wrong exactly. Just don't leave the pump running after you're done.
