indexing distributor

Does, or does not the distributor fire the injectors on a 1986 305 tpi? If so is there a method for indexing the distributor to make the injectors fire correctly? Is the large cap distributor compatable with this engine and ecm?

Thanks, Mo

No indexing of the distributor is necessary.
