Desperatly!! Need Help with High Beams Linkage/Steering Column
Recently, I was attempting to replace the cruise control lever in my GTA because the switch was bad...In the process of doing this I tried to cheat the system by removing the cover on the column just in back of the lever to try and fish the cruise wire through....with no luck I found out that this cover apparently retains a plastic piece which makes contact to the high beam linkage rod and the switch somehow....in removing the cover this plastic piece fell out and I have a feeling I'm gonna have to remove the steering wheel to get this piece back in and have functioning beam control (in turn will also allow me to get correct routing of the cruise wire).....Please can anyone Help me with any steps or advice in accomplishing these goals!!??

Advice? Definitely buy/rent a steering wheel lock plate remover. Talk about making life easier.
That little piece you're talking about probably looks kind of like a J or and L?
You may be able to install it without removing the steering wheel but i've always had mine torn apart so I couldn't tell you if it's actually feasible.
