Need to identify AC line - 88 TA - Please Help!

I'm trying to identify and replace the aluminum AC line in the attached drawing. I found two possible part numbers; GM Horizontal # 10055002 and GM Vertical # 10146995.

What is the difference between these two parts? What's the difference between the "Horizontal" and "Vertical" terminology? Which is the correct part for my car?? :

This is for an 88 Pontiac TA (305 TPI), which I believe is a changeover year for AC lines/components.

GM is the wrong place to get that sort of thing.

Go to the biggest location of the biggest parts store chain in your area that's a "real" parts store; Parts Plus, CarQuest, NAPA, that sort of thing (not a "consumer" place like AZ, Advance, O'Reilly's, CSK). They'll make you one ON THE SPOT for a tiny fraction of what GM will charge you.

Re: Need to identify AC line - 88 TA - Please Help!

Tried 4 of the largest in my area including a NAPA. Strange no one mentioned about having it made. Which I found tonight on the net it seems very common, custom/replacement AC lines.
The GM dealer said the "Vertical, part # 10146995 is available for $60 (the other Horizontal part# 10055002 is NA), but they can not tell me which will fit my TA. Price didn't sound to bad until they said NO REFUND if wrong.
I thought the Schader port and the pressure sensor port would be a problem?? I will try some of the places you suggested tomorrow. THANKS

My late little bro used to work in just such a place; he was the guy that worked the hydraulic crimper. He'd squeeze you up ANYTHING you needed to make it fit, ON THE SPOT. But of course he worked in a densley populated area, western Tennessee, not wide-open country with no people or stores like NJ, so maybe that's different. Last time I needed such a thing where I am now, out here in the boonies and sticks and corn fields where I live now, I didn't have any trouble finding somebody that could do it though.

Can't help you with the horiz/vert thing, I have no idea what they're getting at with that. Some section of it probably, how it lays against the frame or meets the fitting at the end or something like that.
