SBC won't run with choke open after warmed up
SBC in an 83 TA. Just installed new 292H comp cam, comp rods, springs, lifters. Holley dominator intake, Holley 750, HEI with msd 6. Has elec. fuel pump with regulator. Has gas.
Broke cam in and didn't time it. Sat for 2 months. Yesterday, tried to start, hard time getting it started. Had choke closed, it started. Once warm, choke off and open, and it dies. It only runs when choke is slightly open. Open if up all the way and it dies immediately.
Has new hoses and don't notice any vac leaks. Why is it stalling when choke is opened up?
Thanks for any help.

Re: SBC won't run with choke open after warmed up
Could account for some of your problem
Serious cam ( You don't say what engine / what CR ? )
244/244 duration cam is not going to idle anywhere near stock settings;
Have you done the other mods ( idle speed / dist timing / etc ) required when installing a cam with this much ( 71 degrees ) overlap ?
Online guys are saying the 292H only pulled 9-10 inches of vacuum, which means you power brakes prob won't work too well either
