Ali heads 10088113 fit a 1990 TBI 305 Camaro?
If so is there much of a power gain?
Thanks, Carl.

Almost...

They use perimeter-bolt valve covers, they have the pre-97 intake bolt pattern (angles), and no EGR.

SUBSTANTIAL power gain; considering that the 187 heads are about the worst there could possibly be. ANNYTHING (almost) is an improvement.

My 305 doesn't have egr on now anyway, so that's fine.
What manifold would I need to keep running tbi?
And different valve covers isn't a biggy

Any 4-bbl one... with a TBI adapter.

Sounds cheeky but do you have a link to a intake? And adapter?

seeing you are not concerned about EGR ,you could always use your stock TBI intake and just slot the 4 center holes to suit the older style bolt angle like is done on the aftermarket intakes that fit both bolt angles

Would 1.5 ratio roller rockers be alright for these heads? Along with a decent cam to match?

As long as you upgrade the springs.

Just be mindful that anything above around .525" of lift will require you to cut down the valve guides for clearance.

Re: Ali heads 10088113 fit a 1990 TBI 305 Camaro

What would be a good spring set and cam set for a 305 TBi with 113 ally heads and these rockers?

Re: Ali heads 10088113 fit a 1990 TBI 305 Camaro

Found a set of brand new but complete bare 113 ally heads for sale, can get a set of 1.5ratio roller rockers.

Now I know I wants the standard valves (1.9 inlet, 1.5 exh). But so I want standard length? What valve springs strength should I go for? And what would be the best cam for fast road/ track?

Any help appreciated!

Thanks, Carl.

Best bang for the buck is swapping over to a 350 votec. Read the stickies in the tbi section.

Re: Ali heads 10088113 fit a 1990 TBI 305 Camaro

350 isn't an option at the moment.

Vortec heads would be, but getting them cheap and to work with TBI in the uk isn't such an easy option.
Also I'm fairly confident that I can get what I want out f a 305 with out swapping engines.

These heads will fit no problem, I was running ZZ4 heads ( same thing) on my 305 and it was a good investment.

I thought Ali might have been a custom head porter or something.

It was a joke folks, no need for you all to get your panties in a twist (again that's a joke). Although I now know how to get my topic abit more noticed?

So anybody able to direct me in the right direct with cam/valve springs needed?
Ones that would work with my heads and roller rockers if possible?

What's a hot cam kit?

Do you have link or any information?

Thanks, Carl.
