New valve covers, new oil leak?

So this past weekend I put on new centerbolt Proform valve covers. They look good. I like them. It said to tighten the bolts down to 6-8 foot pounds. So I did 7 to be on the safe side. I've driven the car every day since Sunday and checking for leaks around the gaskets and its good...

However, today I get home and decide to check again and see small leaks around one bolt on each cover. Also above the bolt holes, it sees as if there is a slight crack in the paint of the covers....? And a little bit of oil around the bolt and it seems the rubber washer under the bolts are coming off. Pretty sure this is from over tightening.... I'm gonna buy new rubber washers, and get that fixed..but how can I stop the oil leak? Also the bolts don't seem too tight to me, but my torque wrench is spot on for 7 ft pounds. And still that small crack..... Please help. Haven't seen a real solution to this. Here's the covers if your wondering Name: 047_zps1380ac61.jpg
