I got a question does anybody know why my car have a hard start up I have to press on the gas to keep it on and when it warm up it has a high idle I just installed some 24lb fuel injector and now it runs like **** it's a stock engine i think I just need a adjustable fuel pressure regulator or the prom and ecm need to be tune? What's the cheapest why to fix this? It's a 1988 Chevy camaro iroc z28 5.7

Changing from 22# to 24# injectors made the car 10% rich everywhere. That's why it's running badly. You need a chip. Or, using an AFPR you can lower the effective injector size, and therefore inject less fuel.

I think you would be better off running the proper fuel pressure and getting a chip burned for 24lb injectors.

Ok I was doing some research and found burning a chip would be a better choice thanks I just have to found a shop that does it around LA.

Re: hard start up when installed 24lb injector.
Why did you install the 24's?
A stock engine has no use for those.
If you still have the 22's, and if there's nothing wrong with them, just put them back in and be done with it.
22's will support 400 hp (crank).
I understand if yours were shot and 24's were easier/cheaper to find.
If you choose the AFPR route, you need about 35 psi, key on engine off, for the 24's.
