I'm confused, your interior lights (dome or dash or both) didn't work so you replaced the headlight switch and now your headlights don't work? So you pull a fuse and then motors start going?? If you pull a fuse, how are the motors getting power? I'm sure we can help you, but we need some clarification please.

Re: headslights worked fine now they dont
Don't worry about the headlamp motors, they have nothing to do with your lights coming on. I am having trouble getting into schematics tonight, so all I've got to go on is my 89 Camaro schematics. On those, it shows a Red wire going into Terminal A of the headlamp switch. This comes from a fusible link on the starter motor. Do you have voltage at that wire of the headlamp switch?

You need a voltmeter then measure voltage at the headlamp switch to ground to see if you have voltage there. If you're not sure how to use a voltmeter, jump into YouTube and start watching videos on how to use a volt meter (also called a multimeter or DVOM).

Re: headslights worked fine now they dont
Well I'm still having problem pulling schematics at work so I did a search and found this link http://www.austinthirdgen.org/index.php?pid=19 (Thanks to 92RS_Ttop for sharing this link in another thread.) Looks like your 82 is different from my 89 by quite a bit.
Here's a direct link to your 92 Headlight schematics
http://austinthirdgen.org/mkportal/m...ody_wiring.gif
The Orange wire is for your parking lights, the red wire is for your headlights. Keep in mind, both of those wires feed the headlamp switch, the Yellow wire coming out is what feeds voltage to your High Beam/Dimmer switch. Hopefully that schematic will help a lot.

Re: headslights worked fine now they dont
If you've got no power to the Red wire at the headlight switch, then go check the fusible links at the starter motor. Either one is not connected or the fusible link is blown. This is NOT always visible, sometimes the wire can burn in two and you won't see any obvious damage to the fusible link insulation.

Re: headslights worked fine now they dont
i believe i figured it out after tearing the dash apart for nothing its a wire in by tyhe starter wire when i squeezed it everything came on seems someone used duck tape to wrap them and its not lettinmg it keep contact anymore .....ima use ramps put the car up and undo the ones they chopped and re blk tape and twist them together ..unless anyone has a better idea im also goin remove the remaining fusable links under there and by the battery???? thanks guys
