Oil pan gasket replacement

Oil pan gasket replacement

Hey guys just wonderig whats the best way to replace my oil pan gasket without remoing my oil pan

Do you mean actually taking the pan out of the car? You are going to have to since you will have to clean up the gasket surfaces on both the block and the pan. Otherwise you run the risk of having pieces of old gasket left on the block/pan and not getting a good seal, then it'll leak again.
I guess you could leave it in the car, but you will have to lift the engine up far enough to get the pan loose and the gasket out that you will be able to just slide it out at that point. No easy way out on this one.

Well i have the one piece rubber gasket from fel pro so there was no silicone on there, there for theres no cleaning or brokem in pieces itll just come rigt off,
I knew i should of put some silicone in it before i installed it, i guess i trusted fel pros instructions in not needing silicone on there gasket
