can you use an edelbrock performer intake with a quadrajet???
I've found a Edelbrock performer intake that needs cleaned up but good overall and was hoping I could use it on my 305 but will it work with my Rochester quadrajet?? Any help would be great. Thanks!

This is the one I'm looking at. Seems fine to me. Just looks like it needs a good cleaning

Is your engine 1987 (or newer) with center bolt valve covers?
If so that intake will not be a direct fit onto you heads/engine. You will need to elongate the 4 center intake bolt holes on that intake for the holes to match up

yes, a quadrajet works beautifully on a 2101 Performer intake.. which makes sense once you realize that Edelbrock designed it as an emissions legal intake that uses every other part that bolts to the intake manifold: you can even hook up the old style divorced choke setups or remove the blockoff plate and use the later hot air style chokes to make it a totally stock replacement part that frees up some power across the rpm band compared to pretty much any stock intake manifold.

Yup; Q-Jet bolts right up to it. That part works great.
That particular one won't fit your engine. It's for 86-back. The center 2 bolt holes on each side are at the wrong angle to fit your heads. (assuming they're stock to the car) You can slot them out and use angle washers; but as cheeeeeeep as the right intake would be, it's hardly worth it.
