Oil pan hitting tie rod

As some of you may know I swapped a sbc 400 into my 89 rs. Well I used the same mounts that came off the last engine but for some reason the front of the oil pan is right on top of the tie rod cross bar. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Re: Oil pan hitting tie rod

Sounds like you left the truck/full-size-car oil pan on the motor.

Put a pan for A, G, or F body on it.
