4th Gen Plastic Tank Ground Up Build
Well I have a cleaned plastic tank, but the seller wanted $250 for the pump since he just replaced it. Told him to keep it and walked off for $50. So I basically have a shell without any sending unit or lines.
My S60 is coming in very soon and I'd like to sew that area up once and be done.
So with all that being said:
1.)Do I use 4th gen or 97GP sending unit?
2.)What do you recommend for a 500whp car that will see a 200 shot of dope or a whipple 2yrs down the road.
3.)Are stock 3rd gen tanks worth any $$? (To Offset racing funds)
4.)Should I upgrade the lines to the front? If so what material should I use?
5.)Didn't Pocket make a nice schematic for the lines w/AN sizes and fittings?
Attached are two pictures showing what I'm starting with.
