New motor time!!!

Parted out the 355 over the last while and that with my tax return I've decided it's new motor time!!!! This is what I'm thinking

-427 sbc stroker 12:1 CR
-Dart SHP block 4.125 bore 350 mains
-Mahle forged pistons
-Scat 4.00" stroke crank
-Scat 6.0" H beam rods
-AFR eliminator 235cc heads 70cc
-single plane efi intake(undecided) opinions???
-comp cams 4 pattern cam grind#299QS10

Using the above cam with 12:1 SCR the dynamic CR works out to be about 8.1:1. It'll be like a 60/40 street/strip car. I'd like to spin to around 7200 rpm. What kind of power do think this setup will provide??? Any and all opinions are welcome guys!!

Re: New motor time!!!

With those cubes spinning to 7200, if you don't make at least 600 at the crank, you did something wrong.
That's a ridiculous price on that cam -- $687...yikes!
I wouldn't be running hydraulic lifters at those revs. Street solids with positive pin oiling would be a safer bet and make more power.
Whether HR or SR, I'd go here for a custom cam that will cost less and make more power:
