Re: Post your kills/losses here
What is he supposed to get over ? I agree with street racing is asinine,. It's stupid. If the person or persons your racing against dies during your race you can be prosecuted for their death. If you or the person is injured at least at a track you have emergency crew on site. And its legal .
I used to race on the street when I was younger and I've seen what can happen. I had to pay a lot of money to stay out of prison. That was over 20 years ago, And the laws have only gotten more stricked since then about street racing.
So is the brief rush of the race or little bit of money won on the race worth at the minimum of a ticket, loosing your license , Going to prison, And maybe knowing that you are part to blame for someones death, that is something that stays with you.
So when someone challenges me on the street to the race I tell them no thanks they are not worth it and they can tell everyone they beat me and my car.

Re: Post your kills/losses here
does it count as a kill or a loss when your right rear wheel came off and bounced down the road ahead of you?... didnt happen to me and my camaro but my buddy had a 92 rs in high school and i guess the c-clip gave way and the wheel came off and bounced on ahead of us...

Re: Post your kills/losses here
Our family lost a beautiful blue 1987 IROC-Z Camaro. It had a 350 engine and was kept in good hands since we bought it, and it was still taken good care of. Got the car for dirt cheap and NOTHING was wrong with it.. We had it for almost a year when it got wrecked. My mom was driving in broad daylight and was about to turn into a parking lot when a lady driving a 2009 mustang totaled it.. It was devastating.. such a beautiful perfect car destroyed, and it was because she was texting and driving. Now, the song my mom hates is This is how we roll by Florida Georgia Line because that is the song that was playing when her car was wrecked AND when it was rolling up on the rollback truck. Go figure.

Re: Post your kills/losses here
I have not raced my "new" 84, but my old 84 Z28 had a few good wins, and 1 loss I can think of
Wins
1996 Hyundai Elantra (heavily modded)
90-something Passat, twice...in the same day...on 2 different roads, because he was mad that he lost the first time.
1984 Trans Am(friends car)
96 mustang GT
1985 Jetta(mine, friend was driving and we were messing around)
1990 Bronco full size
losses
1966 Mustang. Very heavily modded, I didn't see the supercharger until he let me get in front for a second before he lit the tires up and I lost sight of him.

Re: Post your kills/losses here
Well I get to add a couple.
Turbocharged Honda s2000. Thing ran pretty good and a c5 z06 corvette with a cam. I figured it being a cammed z06 it would keep up but I killed him off the line and he never pulled on me.

Re: Post your kills/losses here
Some dumb kid in some kind of Honda Civic hatchback with an extremely large and loud annoying tailpipe tried me the other day at a redlight. As I passed him up I gave him the bird for causing me to abuse my car and waste that high dollar gas on his POS import.

Re: Post your kills/losses here
Yea he raped me but its cool the I met the guy later at a local wing joint he said it could pull a 12.2 we had some beers. Honestly around here not many ricers want to race or really anybody for that matter maybe I just don't go looking but seems like no one is really interested at least when I have the TA. For some reason I end up getting more harley guys wanting to race me on my bike than I ever do in my car. But it was a nice car all red no kit decent looking exhaust just an oval muffler with a small rolled tip very well done. I think it has a turbo B18C1 swap.
Looked kinda like this
