Times not adding up please help

I have a 92 Camaro rs with a 355 I got from my dad as a gift motor is supposed to be around 450/450 motor consists of
comp extreme energy 284h cam
Edelbrock rpm aluminum heads
Edelbrock performer rpm air gap
650 street demon
Supposed to be between 10.1-10.5 compression I run 93gas
I have 3500 ptc converter 700r4 tranny 3.73 eaton pose unit
I know I don't have a tire on yet but fastest time so far is 13.6 @100 mph 60' 1.91
Dyno numbers 267 torque 250 hp at wheels the guy said I was loosing 45-50% on dyno reading due to stall slippage....I don't think something is adding up according to times and mph please help thanks in advance

13.6 @ 100 time and mph is consistent with 267/250 dyno numbers...

Double check your base/total timing as well as your 700R4 detent cable setting...

Re: Times not adding up please help

The total timing is set at 35 the cable is set pretty good I believe it's shifts pretty dang hard.... I have Hedman long tube headers 3in collector dual 2.5 in pipe into dynomax bullets mufflers....so with the parts that I have listed does that sound pretty reasonable with the power its putting out or should i be pushing more out than that and if it seems reasonable with what I already have what can I do to get Into the 400+ range on all motor

Re: Times not adding up please help

Your converter is good for your cam specs and rear gears, cylinder heads are very respectable. As is, if you lower your sixty foot down three tenth's alone, this should put you in or very near the high 12's. The carb is on the small side though. It's best to see what you are working with by datalogging the vehicle, or having the dyno guy let you know what your air/fuel was in conjunction with your timing throughout the RPM pulls...

Get the data if you can, as air/fuel and timing can greatly effect your numbers if they are not where they need to be. The engine will take in a given amount of air, all we do for it is tune the fueling and spark to that very air, but it needs to be right. A few degrees of timing, as well as a slightly off rich or lean mixture will essentially hold back your engine if it is calling for more or less...
