1982 Camaro as daily driver
I'm 16 and quit riding dirt bikes cause series of injury's and expenses so I agreed to let it go ... For a Camaro . I bought a 1982 for 3000$ and has a 327 with ederbrock valve covers and filter , holly carb 650 and bored 30 overtold it has a cam but not sure what kind , runs great . t-10 4 speed aluminum transmission and has 373 limited slip gearing on all new tires and chrome gragar rims . I was looking for more of a DD but ended up with I think a race car , is it reliable engine wise? Can I trust and use this much HP just going to work and school and such ?? Or is it just a hot rod that shouldn't be driven to much , and it has 120 thousand miles .

Really nothing about that (in my opinion) couldn't be used for a DD, biggest thing being the camshaft which you don't have specs on.

Drive it! When you have problems, fix it. You'll come out of school knowing how to work on your own ride and will be way ahead of the game. Valuable life skill.
Not that the thing should break down often, but stuff happens.
Congrats on getting a kickass car. Don't wrap it around a pole.

Don't be afraid of the engine. Be more worried about worn out braking and suspension systems. Get those sorted out first and you should be fine.

Your car is weaker than a stock LS1 powered F-body. I think the street can handle you.
