Looking for a wiper motor cover but will buy the whole motor assembly if someone has one that's not broken.
2-wire motor, no pulse.

Wiper motor, yes. Cover, no.
Reading the PDF included instructions it states, if the motor has a cover, install it now.
That seems to be way for all of the aftermarket parts. Motor with no cover.

Sorry, rock auto. Looks like this one has the cover as they also make it available without the cover.
I knew I found one somewhere as mine needs to be replaced too (randomly turns on and doesn't park properly)

I think if you look at the picture in the Rock Auto catalogyou'll see no cover on the wiper motor.
Reading the instructions, just likeNapa, it states " Remove wiper motor cover, if so equipped."
Then later in the text it states," Install wiper motor cover, if so equipped."

I think that means buy a wiper motor, supply your own cover.
I'll be delighted if it's otherwise.

I take it you didn't try to repair or it didn't go well? There's one on the bay, says no washer pump but nothing about no cover. Try giving him a message. From what I've read, midsize GM in the same years will work too Cutlass, Monte, Regal, Grand Prix. I don't know about that though.

I haven't had the time to even have a look at it. I can wait a little and hope that something pans out with my searches. I still haven't hit the junk yards so there's another option.
I like the idea of the repair. Once all the little fires are out around here I can sit down at the workbench and give it a go. That's assuming of course I can find all the bits and pieces. I hadn't anticipated needed the broken pawl. The cover is installed at the moment as in an emergency I can plug the wiper motor connector in and have the wipers 100% of the time. They just won't turn off unless I unplug the motor.
I've also heard other models of the same vintage will work. That only makes sense from an OEM point of view. There's the scrap yard visit again.
