Old School Posters Roll Call!
Wow, has it been a while since I've been on here.
I haven't been in Ontario for about 6 years now.
I remember the old bickering that used to go on here...
bunch of us met up here at different times, at least from the Ottawa crowd.
Whats everyone been up to, and do you still have your thirdgen?

Scarborough Ontario here. I check the site about 3 times a week or more.
Not a lot for me to add or comment on. Still like to see what goes on though.

Wow, ghosts from Christmas past or what... Hi guys!!!! Hey Dave, I just got back from Dayton, this weekend was the Trans Am Nats. I still got my car, driven it about 2 gas tanks in the last 5 years. I gotta drive it more I know. After seeing all the cars down at the show my blood flows more. I haven't heard from a lot of guys on here in awhile, even the Ottawa F-body club...??? no idea what became of that. I see Hylton about 2 times a year. Wonder if Pauls still around???
Like Neil said, ccfbg seems to be an active site, they have a lot of get to geathers. A lot of good people.

Re: Old School Posters Roll Call!
I guess the fact that CCFBG is an Ontario group, it caters more directly to the Ontario fans regarding events and nearby parts and help. I like this 3rd gen site as it caters to 3rd gens exclusively and isn't overwhelming in the amount of content. I have a few other makes and models of cars, so my time is spread rather thinly.

Yea, thirdgen was the very first forum I ever joined, at one time it was hopping. As these cars get older they are getting rarer. It's good to see people still buying them and modding them to their tastes, or just restoring them.
Yea, I always will have a soft spot for thirdgen.org. And I will always have my car, I know that.

Still here, still parting/buying/selling/building. Somehow, the damned things multiplied over time...have the one that started it all, and then some!

I'm at CCFBG too. It can be handy source for local parts. This forum (Third Gen of Ontario) operates more like a buy and sell. (Which is also handy).
I hang out here more for the tech. Both give and take.

I still pop my nose in here once in a while too. Still have the GTA, put it on the road a couple of months ago for the first time in about three years. Finally got her to pass an e-test.
I'm thinking about selling her in the spring though. Just not enough time to take 'er out...

Sweet. I have been here on and off the last few years. I can't even remember when I joined here. lol Met Buddy this year at the TA NAts. Been a member of CCFBG since it's inception, but even that has wound down these days. It's been pretty quiet on the forums...

Re: Old School Posters Roll Call!
We sure did like our bickering back then eh
I am actually driving a 4th gen as a summer daily now, but I still own four 3rd gens, they are just currently under the knife, different plans and different ideas
This is still the best place to go for tech info and aftermarket product and vender reviews

Re: Old School Posters Roll Call!
I drop in for a look now and then.
I sold my IROC a couple years back. 25 years of 3rd gen and I figure time for something new.
I am restoring a Porsche 928 these days. It is a very different experience. And trust me the bickering that went on here is nothing compared to the grannyfest on some of the Porsche sites.
I also have a Jeep project on the go. Sooner or later will look at an LS1 conversion. Now that will be one radical Jeep...

Hey Dave!!
How are you? Still sticking your arm up cow's *****? One of the problems is that many of us have kids now and so that consumes a lot of my time. I still cruise the boards but little time to get absorbed into any discussion.

Re: Old School Posters Roll Call!
I've got 2 boys now, they keep me pretty busy.
Winters are shorter here in Ohio, but like above, I've put maybe 2 tanks of gas through it since I've moved down here. Its gone through a few different engine builds, 1 almost hit 800hp, but its tuned down, way down now. lowered and on BMW 18's. I may paint it this year. Not sure. I just don't really have the "bug" anymore, but I'm sure it will come back when the boys get older.
Merry Christmas to everyone on here!
