In Need of Quick Fuel Injector Info...!

Hello! I am really new to this board and to the 3rd Gen Camaro's. I've been searching the old posts for a several hours but have run out of time.

Issue: Fuel injectors are leaking, car runs like a piece of trash.

What I Need: Replacement/Rebuilt Injectors.

Problems Solving Issue: {1988 350 IROC } My wife bought me this car and it needs new parts from one end to the other; it's truelly nickel and diming me half to death. For this issue, I just want a quick fix that is cheaper so I can concentrate on other areas.
It's my understanding that this engine takes #22 pound factory injectors; That there are 9 injectors for this year, that there are other options out there; Ford injectors will cost me approximately $300-$400 and are very consistent balanced items. Accel injectors are riddeled with problems; Factory injectors can be sent out to be blue-printed.

Are there any other options worth considering? Probably the cheapest solution would be to get a spare set and have them rebuilt and just switch them out???

What engine/vehicle years could I pull these out of and have them just easily swap??? I keep reading posts that mention LS1 injectors; what is the purpose'/benifit? are they a quick swap????

What else should I be looking at?

Thanks to anyone who responds. I need to start resolveing this problem this next week if at all possible. Oh, I am planning on keeping this engine fairly stock, but the intent is to wring out as much performance as is possible with basic performance tune-up and basic ignition/exhaust/chip/ect. items; no forced induction or fat rebuilding of heads or block.

RE: replacement injectors....

Wow, that's a low price; were they new or rebuilt?? If Not, Would you even consider rebuilds???Nitro

Car: '87 Trans-Am

Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.42 or 3.73..figuring it out still
Well, if you just need a quick fix for now, the car will run on the 19lb. injectors, just not properly. I believe it will run a bit lean. Then you can focus on more important issues until you have money/time to come back to the injectors again in the future. Though $215 for all 8 injectors is a steal and I would do that...rebuilt or new. Beats messing around with improper or used questionable injectors/cheap quick temporary fixes.
