cam swap
im doing a cam swap on my l98 with 140000 mi. im doing new gaskets, timing kit, roller rockers, pushrods, bearings and piston rings. is there anything else i would need to do?

Sounds to me like your rebuilding the motor, not swaping the cam.
If your going to do new rings and bearings, send everything out to a good machine shop to let them measure everything and look over it. The machine work can cost more than the parts, but it assures you that everything will work as planned. No point in putting new bearings on a crank that isnt round, or new rings if the cylinder walls arent good anymore.
