boneyard TB for TPI retrofit on GEN1 350?
Hi Everyone,
I was given the TPI system off an 86 T/A but the TB assembly is missing. So I need to find a boneyard setup with everything on the TB assembly I need (TB, TPS, IAC). I have a rebuilt GEN1 350 I am planning to install it on. Haven't decided on the controller yet (Megasquirt maybe). It will be speed density setup.
With my plans does it matter what year/make I get the TB off? I have read that after 88 the TPS is not adjustable. Is that true and if it is, does it matter if the TPS is adjustable? If there is no relevant difference across the years and models then can I ****** one of any Firebird/TA/Camaro/Vette from 86 to 92?
I do most work myself and am planning to figure out how to tune the engine with the controller. I'm in for a huge education here but I don't want to get too far off topic from my TB question right now.

Any will work ( even a LT1 TB if you are prepared to splice on the later model connectors )
Major difference in TB's is the style of the throttle linkage / how accel cable attaches
Early ones use a simpler carb stud type attachment
