Re: Fuel Filter Replacement
Follow the fuel/brake lines all the way to the rear and look where Rbob pointed out. It's kind of up in the hump under the car, behind the driver's side rear seat. Check the attached pic.
Also, I bought my stock replacement filter from TPIparts.net a few years back and it worked/fit great.

Hey there...so its perfectly okay to put a drip pan down to catch the fuel and let it drain out...I assume at some point it stops pouring out?

Re: Fuel Filter Replacement
O...maybe I'll just try and do it real quick...is it really bad to starve the engine...it says to do that exact thing on my Ford explorer? Where is the fuse located at your suppose to pop out?

Or pull the fuse and run the car until it dies but I don't recommend it. I would rather clean up some spilled gas then run my car out of it.

Re: Fuel Filter Replacement
Otherwise, I plan fuel filter changes so I do it first thing after letting the car sit overnight when the pressure has bled down.
Either way, I still get a small fuel bath into my arm pits.
