Need help finding bad wiring

Don't have much experiance troubleshooting bad wires, besides corroded or broken ones. What am i looking for then, high resistence readings...what value would be too high then? And i guess system needs to be powered up during testing also?

If you are checking the voltage ( DC Volts scale ) ; as in is any power getting to a item
If checking resistance, power off and the DVM on the Ohm's scale

Any .
Unless the circuit has some form of resistance in it ( a relay coil , etc ) should see almost no resistance.
Obviously a long wire run will have more resistance than a shorter one

Re: Need help finding bad wiring or:2 stubborn 2 start

Well, i found bad connection on pins and cleaned it and now have spark and injectors working...but, still no go..not even a p0p!
Could it be that when i was trying to start it before doing fixes, alot of fuel was leaked from bad injectors into crankcase and cylinders and that fuel won't ignite and is acting like a flood condition? Also, could plugs be fouled from that? I am getting spark from them, so you would think i would at least get a little combustion.
Also, is it possible computer is bad in a way that could make my bird stubborn to start? Thanks again!

Re: Need help finding bad wiring

Just following up on what happened...Shes alive!
It all started as a no start unless starting fuid was used...replaced injectors...pickup coil, and used an old GM icm..pulsed only when purple dist wire was used..then noticed connection to old icm was corroded, so cleaned it and all was well again..lots of tests in between all this though...Good Luck!
