tpi question that i dont know how to seach for
So i am taking my 305 tpi out of my 87 iroc and putting it i to a 86 iroc as my body is shot on the 87.
I was wondering what is all needed to run the tpi properly and not turn the sel on i live in ny so i dont have to worry about smog testing because of the age but i cant have the sel on i would like to get rid of the hoses and ugly stuff ontop of the left valve cover i am deleting the ac as i dont use i. I am keeping the smog canister though

You can pretty much just pull the 87 motor out and drop it in the 86. Wiring is likely very close but there may be some pin changes to the C100 and C207. As far as emissions delete...do a search and you'll find tons of threads in this very tpi forum.

Yeah the swap is going to be easyfor the most part but you answed my question kinda i couldent think of a way to search emissions delete (wasnt even thinking it was that simple haha)
The 86 had a carbed built 350 motor befor i bought it and before the carbed motor it had a tpi 350 stock in it and it was a drag car with the built 350 so it had a stand alone fuel and spark systems the previous onewrs just cut up the 350 and kept what they needed to run it properly (sel was on) i figured i use my harness and my ecm it should run fine and pass inspection
