Car is low on power and struggles uphill.
I have a 91 Formula 305 TPI 5-spd with 85k miles. The car has lost some power in general. Going up hill will cause the car to bog/stall.
A few days ago the car started missing for a few minutes then cleared up. Yesterday during lunch it started losing power and couldn't rev anymore but was still running but after it sat for 5 minutes it ran fine back to work. I barely got it home last. I put a new Wix Fuel filter on but that didn't seem to help.
On a side note taking the gas cap off didn't release the tank of pressure, so the feed line didn't stop putting out fuel? I've never seen this before.
I'm going to try to get a fuel pressure tester on it tonight, the valve is in a terrible spot to attach the tester I noticed(lack of room). Any tips?
Here is what I have for the car ready to go on. MSD CAP/ROTOR/WIRES and set of NJK Plugs. I also have a new MSD coil on the way.
I'm thinking it could be a lot of things. Pump, Coil, ICM, Injectors? The car has done a lot of sitting but did have stabilizer in the tank. I also just filled up with fresh gas last week and put Seafoam into the gas tank.

Do you still have the Cat on the car? A clogged or partially clogged Cat will do the same symptoms.
If you do and it is clogged, chances are the muffler will be next.

My car does still have the stock dual cat exhaust system. Could one be clogged cause this as well?
I have heard a few backfires while engine braking the last few weeks(not many).
