Identify this fuel line part please..
This little round flying saucer thing in-line with the fuel line. Can someone tell me what it is, what it's called, what function does it serve and where to find a replacement (if necissary). Thank you.

Certainly not factory. Either a pressure regulator(doubtful) or a pulsator. A pulsator works kinda like a shock absorber for when the injectors shut, the fuel pressure "spikes". Helps keep the injectors from being extra loud.
BTW, if you haven't already, you might want to fix the line that's not connected to the tank pressure control valve. (the black disc thing below the metal dealie)

Exactly what alineempire said. That is fuel pressure damper. I tried adding one to my car also to see if it would quiet down noisy Bosch fuel injectors that send pulses through your fuel system. It's most certainly not factory. Oh and it didn't work in shutting up noisy injectors. I would guess a previous owner was trying to do the same thing to your car. It's a real common to see one or more of these on almost all newer cars. Especially imports.

Wierd. I kinda suspected that it wasnt factory since no other tpi ive seen (on-line or in person) had it. Thus the reason for my question.
So, logically, it wouldnt hurt anything if i bypassed/eliminated it, right?

I can deal with a little extra noise. Thank you guys.
FYI the hose is disconnected from the tank pressure control valve because with it connected the car tends to "moo" randomly when parked. Its kind of annoying.

That Moo sound is probably your tank over pressurizing and blowing out through the vent valve normally used to let air in the tank. It will reverse flow if the pressure is to great. Your EVAP system is probably not working.

I'm aware of all that. From what I've determined it's probably the EVAP solenoid on top of the charcoal canister that's failed. Unfortunatly I can't replace that with out replacing the whole canister and I don't feel like spending a couple hundred on that just yet. It's just emissions and doesn't seem to effect the car's performance with that hose disconnected to no harm no foul.

Re: Identify this fuel line part please..
The CCP solenoid is only used to purge the canister. Has nothing to do with tank pressure. Either the pressure control valve is bad (the round thing you disconnected the hose from).
Or the canister vent has been plugged. This is the one on the top that has molded in 'AIR.'
That is an open air vent and as such needs to be open to the air.

The pressure control valve (the round black thing i have disconnected) was replaced within the last 6 months (trying to inexpensively fix this issue) and no change - so i doubt its that. The only thing on top of the canister IS the CCP solenoid and as i stated before can not be replaced byitself, the whole canister has to be replalced. See below.
If the solenoid is not the issue then where else should i be looking?

The canister side of the pressure control valve goes to the lower port on the canister. Should be able to easily blow into that port. And have the air exit the canister via the vent tube.
The vent is to the left of the solenoid in the picture you posted.
