Throttle body gasket question...

My gasket kit came with both of these gaskets and if my memory serves me correctly when I took it apart there were two gaskets between the TB and the plenum. Am I supposed to install both of these??

Just want to make sure before I put her together, Thanks!

No, only one gasket goes in there.

Re: Throttle body gasket question...

The bottom gasket is for early throttle bodies. The top gasket is for later throttle bodies. Use one or the other, not both.

Re: Throttle body gasket question...

IIRC, the top gasket is used with '88-'92 throttle bodies. The bottom gasket is used with '85-'87 throttle bodies.
