Crank no start condition

Hi Everyone,

I have a crank no start condition on my 91 Camaro Z28 with a 5.7. So far there is spark but no injector pulsing when cranking. Both leads on the injector connector show power-the circuit tester shows power at both leads with the ignition switch in on position. The first question is should both leads have power or should one be ground and the other one with power?

I need this answer so that I can proceed with further testing. Your help would be appreciated.

Ok, should both leads on the connector show power with the test light? or should just one lead show power on the test light? If so, which circuit?

Ok, got it one side has a power on one side, found a loose ground tightened it up but still won't start. Checked circuits coming from the green ecm connector that lead to injectors has power and continuity. So, I checked the codes and I get a code 46 of the VATS having a problem.

Re: Crank no start condition

Do you have more than one key?

VATs bypass is where you wire in resistors to the same value as your key. Sometimes the wires that go to the ignition break and wiring the resistors in bypasses the ignition part.
Normally VATs disables the starter also, but someone could have put a permanent ground for the starter relay at some point.
