Which air intake to buy?
My car came with one of those K&N "hot air" intakes that's about 6 inches long and just sticks on the front of the throttle body with no additional ductwork. The filter element is mostly rotted away, so I'm going to need to replace it.
Was wondering if I should just get another one of these, or if I should get an aftermarket cold air intake kit, or just try to find a used factory air intake. Car is a '91 T/A that I'm swapping a Corvette TPI L98 into. My car has a Flowmaster, no cat, and one of those stupid airfoils that adds 0.2hp under the right conditions. I'm not planning on doing headers or cam or heads or anything to greatly improve performance as I'm on a budget, and anyways I'd do an LS swap before I dumped serious money into trying to build up a TPI car. Just looking for something decent that's cost effective. Doesn't necessarily need to look stock either.

Re: Which air intake to buy?
Found one on eBay for $48 shipped, and ended up buying another K&N filter for it just for the sake of not having to replace air filters. Thanks!
