Rear End
I have a 88 Iroc-Z TPI 350 with the 2.77 posi rear end. I definitly wanna yank that out and stick in a 3.73 posi rear end.
Anyone know of any thirdgen stores online that sell these rear ends used? I checked thirdgenresource.com but they dont seem to have any....

sweet!
One more question tho... I'm havent had much experience working on/with rear ends.....
Am I able just to switch the gearing itself out to change the ratio? Or do I have to get a new housing and spindles?
Also, what do you guys think the best ratio would be? I'm looking for good power and still being able to cruise on the expressway. Would it be better to put in a 3.27, 3.45 or a 3.73? I hate this 2.77 I feel like the car could be so much faster with a higher ratio rear end and I can still maintain decent expressway cruising.
Thanks for the help...

You answered your own question (No Experience with gears).
I guess you could learn, but at the price of 9-bolt parts it could be expensive. My opinion. The 3:45 gears would be the best choice
and No you will not need those items you mentioned.
