powerglide trans cooler line ?

powerglide trans cooler line ?

im installing a powerglide trans in my car. i need to know which one is the in and which one is the out on the trans. is it the same as a 700r4 top-in
bottom-out. thanks alot.

All GM transmission are the same but it doesn't really matter. All you're doing is directing the hot oil through a cooler then back to the transmission. Unless the cooler is designed for flow in only one direction, it doesn't matter which direction it flows. The cooler built into the side of a rad normally has the bottom outlet line from the transmission going to the bottom of the rad cooler. The top outlet of the rad cooler goes to the top fitting on the tranny.
