I never really experienced this type of problem before and a little bit confused by it. I recently bought a 91 gta with a 5.0 tpi w/ the 700r4 4 speed transmission. My issue is the other day I went to pull out of the driveway and put it in reverse and the car wouldn't go in reverse so I put the car back in park and gave the shifter a little bump to make sure it was in park then put it in reverse everything was good, then went to go into overdrive to go forward and it wouldn't move. I then placed the shifter all the way down to first and it moved like nothing was wrong I shifted through all the gears just fine, but say I put it in drive or over drive and am stopped at a stop sign it doesn't move as if its in neutral. Any ideas?
