I need to replace my '88's clutch cylinders, and want to move away from the OEM plastic units, if I can. Trouble is, I can't shell out big bucks for things like Lakewood.
Here is what I have found:
- Wilwood 260-6089 - Compact Remote Reservoir - Aluminum - $47.99
- Wilwood 260-1304 - Compact Integral Reservoir - Aluminum - $49.99
- Exedy MC315 - Unknown material - $56.48
- Exedy SC713 - Unknown material - $30.21
that these take real screw-in lines, not slide-in plastic lines.
The Exedy units appear
to be aluminum, but all the pictures state that the images are not vehicle-specific.
All the local parts stores seem to sell only plastic OEM replacements.
I'm real comfortable with Wilwood, but they don't make a "push" slave cylinder. Has anybody here used the Exedy parts? Are they aluminum or plastic?
